1) I have a lot of copies of one textbook; how many will you buy? Our policy is to purchase a maximum of 3 copies of a particular book per seller per 30 day period. You may write us at for permission to send additional copies of a title. We most probably WILL give permission for additional copies after reviewing our inventory, market conditions and other factors. Do not send in more than 3 copies without our written permission, however, as you will not be reimbursed without it. 2) Why aren't you buying a textbook that was recently published? Our database is completely updated every 30 days or so. We make minor adjustments between complete updates, too. If your text is copyrighted this year or next, it’s possible that we will buy the book when our database is updated. Keep checking.
3) When will I get paid? It depends on shipping speed and payment method. Media mail generally takes 6-12 days, depending on your distance from Illinois and the postal service connections between your location and ours. Guidelines for payment are: Paypal in 6-15 days, Check via 1st class mail in 9-20 days and Check via Priority mail in 7-18 days. Actual times may vary. UPS Ground is usually no more than 5 days, so payment will be a little quicker, but your shipment must meet our $50 UPS Ground shipping threshold.
4) Can an old book be considered new? Our condition rating is dependent on the condition of the book, not the copyright, so yes, an old book can be considered new if it meets our condition requirements.
5) How do I ship to you? We reimburse you for your shipping fees. If your package is valued between $10 and $50, you must ship via media mail at any US Post Office facility. If your package is valued at $50 or more, we will reimburse you for the first $50 of postal insurance. Additional insurance charges will not be reimbursed. Packages valued at $50 or more may be shipped via media mail at the US Post Office or via UPS Ground, if you prefer. UPS includes $100 of insurance on all packages. You may purchase additional insurance from UPS, but we will not reimburse UPS insurance charges. Drop your package(s) off at any UPS Customer Center or UPS Store. UPS Alliance Centers and Shipping Outlets may charge higher rates for which you will not be reimbursed. We reimburse the standard shipping charge available at UPS Customer Centers and UPS Stores.
You may not ship more than 70 pounds per package via either media mail at the post office or UPS Ground.
6) How do I insure and/or track my package? See question 5 regarding purchasing insurance. Both the US Postal Service and UPS provides the mailer with a mailing receipt which can be used for tracking. 7) Can I search by Author or Title? Searching by ISBN is the fastest and most accurate method for pricing books. We do not offer Author or Title search capability so that your queries will return a speedy and accurate result. 8) Why do you ask for my e-mail address? We may need to contact you in the event we are not able to validate your mailing address or if other questions arise. We do not share this information with anyone outside of Easybookbuyback.com. See our privacy policy in our Legal section for additional information. 9) How long is a price quote good for? 48 hours. We frequently adjust pricing, so check back often to be sure you have the latest pricing. Be sure to ship within 2 days of printing a mailing label/packing list. If your package arrives over 14 days from the quote date, the values on www.easybookbuyback.com on the arrival date will be used for calculating your payment instead of the packing list values. 10) Why is there more than one ISBN on some textbooks? There are 3 reasons. 1) If it’s the student edition of a book, then two ISBNs means the book is packaged with an accessory such as an on-line access code, CD-ROM or study guide. Submit the 2nd ISBN first, and if there is no result, then try the 1st ISBN on the book. 2) The book is NOT a student edition. Desk , Review and Instructor's editions are acceptable. FREE COPY labeled books may be downgraded an additional 50% below the used price. 3) 13 digits will be the new standard ISBN length in 2007, so publishers may include both the old 10 digit standard and the new 13 digit standard. 11) What happens if I forgot to enclose the packing list? We will send your payment using a check with 1st class mail. The books would be valued at current pricing, which may have changed while the books were in transit. If you include the packing list, payment is based upon the values printed on the list, even if current pricing has been reduced, except if your package arrives after 14 days. In that case, current pricing overrides the packing list (see FAQ 9 above for more details). 12) What happens if the buyback value of my package is less than $10? We will not be able to reimburse you for your item(s) or shipping expenses. Please do NOT ship packages valued less than $10. 13) We would like to link with your home page, is that okay? Sure, but please send us an email at and let us know. Also, please use this logo:
